Our Plastic Egg Tray Manufacturing Machine is a fully integrated, high-speed thermoformer designed to produce premium plastic egg trays efficiently and sustainably. Built for industrial-scale operations, this machine combines automation, precision, and energy efficiency to deliver consistent results every cycle.

 

Three‑Station Thermoforming Design
Comprised of a sheet‑feeding unreeling device, sheet heating unit, product thermoforming station, product punching & cutting station, product stacking station, product transferring unit, waste-sheet collecting rewinding unit, and a robust electrical control system. This workflow ensures seamless, continuous production.

 

High Speed & Efficiency
Achieves up to 50 cycles per minute, making it one of the fastest plastic egg tray machines on the market. Ideal for high-volume egg packaging operations.

Process flow

1. Sheet Feeding

A roll of thermoplastic sheet (e.g., PP, PLA) is fed into the machine via the unreeling device. The sheet feeding caterpillar ensures consistent tension and alignment.

2. Heating

The sheet passes through the heating unit, where a multi-zone, partition-controlled heater softens it to the correct forming temperature.

3. Thermoforming

In the thermoforming station, the heated sheet is precisely shaped using molds under servo‑motor control (positive/negative pressure forming).

4. Punching & Cutting

The molded sheet moves to the cutting station, where in‑mould laser or steel cutting separates individual egg trays.

5. Stacking

Finished trays are stacked automatically in the stacking station with ergonomic devices that count and arrange them efficiently.

6. Transfer & Rewind

The stacked trays are transferred out, while waste sheet is collected and rewound for possible reuse, reducing raw material waste.

Ergonomic Mould Replacement

Our human-engineered mould replacement structure allows for quick mould swaps, saving labour and downtime. Laser-steel cutting punching and stacking devices are designed for ergonomic efficiency.

Advanced Heating System

Uses a temperature control module with rapid response, fine-tuning, and partition control: Reaches 400°C in about 3 minutes Temperature fluctuation within ±1℃ Energy savings of ~15% Long heating furnace life

Automatic Counting & Memory

Moulding, cutting, and stacking stations are synchronized under servo control to automatically count finished products. The system can store up to 50 sets of product data for repeat production runs.

Adjustable Sheet Feeding

Caterpillar sheet feeder with automatic width synchronization or separate electric adjustment — giving you precise control over sheet feeding for different materials or mould widths.
