During operation, peanuts are fed quantitatively and uniformly into the hopper, where they undergo repeated impact, friction, and collision by the rotor to break the shells efficiently. The mixture of crushed peanuts and shells is forced through specialised sieves—the first with larger holes for initial shell breaking and the second for finer separation of smaller shells and impurities. Then, the fan generates a strong airflow to blow away the light, broken shells, while the vibrating screen ensures only clean peanuts pass through, achieving effective shell removal and grain cleaning.
