Automatic Stretch hood wrapping machine

The automatic stretch hood wrapping machine is engineered to package palletised loads using pre-stretched tubular stretch hood film.

 

This fully automated system secures stacked pallets firmly by harnessing the elastic recovery of the pre-stretched film.

 

The cold-stretch film offers robust weather-resistant protection, shielding up to five or six sides of the pallet from dust, rain, and snow, while also providing UV resistance.

 

Its high puncture resistance helps prevent tears and accidental damage during handling and transport. In addition to enhancing protection, the stretch hooding process improves the appearance of the load, making it ideal for outdoor storage and sea freight applications.

Process flow

1. Pallet Placement

The palletised load is positioned beneath the stretch hood machine—either conveyed automatically or placed manually via forklift—ready for the hooding process.

2. Film Loading

Polyethylene stretch hood film is supplied on large rolls and loaded onto the machine using a forklift. The system unwinds the film to the correct length based on the dimensions of the pallet.

3. Hood Cutting & Sealing

The machine automatically cuts the film to the programmed size and seals the top of the tubular hood, preparing it for application.

4. Film Stretching

The hood is stretched both horizontally and vertically by the equipment. This step is essential for ensuring a tight fit, which is critical for load stability during handling and transit.

5. Hood Application

The stretched hood is lowered over the pallet while still under tension. Once released, the elastic recoil of the film tightly secures the load from multiple sides.

6. Final Check & Despatch

The Stretch Hood Machine Operator performs a final inspection to confirm proper hood application and film tension. Once verified, the pallet is ready for storage or shipment.

We offer various transportation options, including rail, sea, and combined (sea and rail) transport. Delivery times vary by region:

We also provide detailed photos and videos of the loading process, along with complete information regarding equipment declaration and customs clearance.

What is the warranty for the machine?

The warranty period of our equipment is 12 months, usually it takes about 30 days (1 month) from China to the customer's place, and the installation and commissioning time also takes about 30 days (1 month), so the warranty period is extended to 18 months from the date delivery (excluding wearing parts). We will provide customers with the necessary wear parts upon delivery of the goods. If there are any quality problems during the warranty period, we will fix the problem as soon as possible. If the parts need to be replaced, we will deliver them to the customer by air, and we will take care of all costs.

Can engineers be sent to the site for installation and equipment debugging?

Depending on the machinery, we will send an engineer to your facility to assist with machine installation and provide training for your staff on its operation. We will also provide installation instructions for the production line, layout drawings, assembly drawings, etc. If the customer has his own engineer, he can install the equipment according to the installation drawings, and we can also guide the installation. The customer is responsible for covering round-trip airfare, accommodation, and a fee of USD 150 per day per person. The duration of the visit will depend on the machines ordered, typically ranging from 7 to 30 days.

What are your payment terms?

Payment ≦ 5000 USD, 100% in advance. Payment ≥ 5000 USD, 30% T/T in advance, balance before shipment.
