Electric Screw Press

Complete Electric Screw Press Forging Line

An electric screw press forging line is designed for manufacturers that need higher output, better consistency and reduced manual handling. Instead of using the electric screw press as a standalone machine, the press becomes the core equipment in a complete forging production system.

A typical line starts with billet preparation. The billet may be cut by a bar shearing machine, circular saw or billet cutting machine, depending on the material and production requirement. After cutting, the billet is heated using an induction heating furnace or other heating system.

Once the billet reaches the correct forging temperature, it can be transferred to the electric screw press manually or automatically. For higher-volume production, robot loading or automatic feeding systems can be used to improve safety and production efficiency.

The electric screw press then performs the main forging operation. Depending on the part and die design, the process may include preforming, final forging, sizing, coining or calibration. The controlled blow energy of the press helps support stable forming quality.

After forging, the part may move to a trimming press, cooling conveyor or inspection area. Some forging lines also include die lubrication systems, scale removal systems, handling robots and automatic control systems.

A complete electric screw press forging line can be used for automotive parts, aluminium alloy components, brass parts, machinery components, hand tools and other forged metal products.

When planning a complete line, manufacturers should consider the part drawing, material grade, billet size, forging temperature, press capacity, production output, workshop space and automation level.

Wiz Machinery can help customers plan a practical forging line based on their product and target output.
